It’s about longevity. Massage therapy is incredibly rewarding for both the client and therapist, but it's also quite physically demanding on the body. Unlike some professions, maintaining a standard 40-hour massage work week and continuing to deliver truly effective, high-quality sessions is no small feat. Our off-peak hours allow for sessions earlier in the day. The peak hours later in the day and week help us manage schedules and energy levels sustainably. Extended hours cater to clients with more demanding schedules.
-
We do not directly accept insurance. However, we are happy to provide you with a detailed receipt that you can submit to your insurance provider for possible reimbursement.
-
Yes, we do! Using your HSA or FSA allows you to pay for services with pre-tax dollars, and make your sessions more affordable.

Thank you so much for considering me. I absolutely love traveling to/with my clients. Yes I can accommodate. Rate is dependent upon location, length of stay, work hours per day, and travel time. Travel and equipment accommodations are to be discussed, and will be added to the final rate. This time will be exclusive to you and yours. I will not attend to any other clients or requests during this time. This is an excellent idea for out-of-state or international group/family/corporate event requests. Before, During and After Your Massage
The knead to knows, and what knot

All sessions include the services you request for the full amount of time you book. Ie: 60 minute session = 60 minutes hands-on time.
-
No, you don't. You should undress to your comfort level; some clients undress completely, while others prefer to keep underwear on. You'll always be professionally draped throughout the session and we have disposable undergarments available for your comfort.
-
Our goal is to provide therapeutic relief, not pain. While deep tissue work might feel intense, it should never be excruciating. Always communicate if the pressure is too much, and your therapist will adjust immediately.
-
To prepare for your massage, hydrate well throughout the day and consider a light meal no less than an hour or two beforehand. If needed, freshening up before your session. Clear your mind, fully embrace the relaxation ahead, and arrive a few minutes early to park without a rush.
-
This depends on the type of session you receive and what areas we will be treating. In general, you should undress to your comfort level before getting on the table. Most clients undress to their undergarments. As is expected of all professionally licensed massage therapist, we are ethically required to provide adequate draping at all times during the session. The only part of your body that will be exposed is the part I am working on at the moment.
-
For general wellness and stress management, many find that a monthly massage is ideal. If you're managing chronic discomfort or muscle tension, a more frequent schedule, like weekly or bi-weekly sessions, might be beneficial initially to address specific issues, then tapering as you improve.
Athletes, post-op clients, and other active individuals often opt for more regular sessions to aid in recovery, improve flexibility, reduce inflammation and mitigate injury risk during training or recovery periods.

In fact, it’s one of the best compliments you can give your therapist – it means you're incredibly relaxed!
-
Emotional releases like crying, laughing, or even yawning excessively are common and healthy responses to deep relaxation and tension release. Your session is a safe, confidential space for whatever emotions may arise. There's no need to apologize or feel embarrassed.
